NY Times: Bring Duval-Leroy for Your Thanksgiving Hosts
Wine critic Eric Asimov has solved the Thanksgiving guest gift dilemma. In a new piece in the New York Times, he recommends getting a bottle of Duval-Leroy Brut for your hosts – and his logic is unassailable:
1. It’s just good manners to give your Thanksgiving hosts a little gift, Asimov writes in the Wednesday, Nov. 11, edition of the Times.
2. “If the hosts enjoy wine, what better gift than a well-chosen bottle?”
3. “The all-purpose, can’t-go-wrong gift is a bottle of Champagne.”
4. “Any bottle is a nice gesture, but a good bottle, not necessarily expensive, is even better.”
And there, Asimov says, “Duval-Leroy Brut is a good choice.”
